Who Am I?

Born on the vibrant island of Curacao, just off the coast of Venezuela, I was whisked away to the Netherlands during my toddler years. Amsterdam became my playground, where I cultivated a love for literature and football amidst its historic canals and bustling streets. My childhood was a tapestry of curiosity, adventure, and an early passion for the stories and strategies found within pages and pitches.

My journey took a scholarly turn at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where I embarked on a voyage through the realms of Economics. It was here that my fascination with the intricacies of business, finance, and accounting blossomed. This period was marked by intellectual growth and a deepening interest in the forces that shape economies and enterprises.

With a spirit of independence, I ventured into freelancing, collaborating with various audit firms, and taking on roles as a controller for leading corporates and governmental entities. My experience broadened, embracing internal auditing and the strategic aspects of financial stewardship. This period was characterized by flexibility, adaptation, and a deeper engagement with the mechanics of financial integrity and accountability.
